EarCraft: Ear Training ("we", "us", "our") is developed and operated by Beijing Yijing Technology Co., Ltd. We are committed to protecting your personal information and being transparent about what we collect and why.

This Privacy Policy applies to the EarCraft app available on the Apple App Store and Google Play, and to any related services we provide.

Information We Collect

Account Information

When you create an account, we collect the information needed to identify you and provide the service:

Sign In with Apple: We receive a unique Apple identifier and, if you choose to share it, your name and email address.
Nickname: A display name you set in the app, used for leaderboards and your profile.

Learning Progress & Usage Data

To deliver a personalized training experience, we store:

Which modules and levels you have completed or attempted
Your scores, streaks, and earned points
Practice session history used to identify weak areas

This data is tied to your account and synchronized across your devices.

Subscription & Purchase Information

Purchases are processed entirely by Apple App Store or Google Play. We do not receive or store your payment card information. We do store:

Your current subscription status (active, expired, trial)
Subscription type (monthly or yearly)
Transaction identifiers provided by Apple or Google for validation

Leaderboard Data

If you participate in leaderboards, your nickname and ranking score are visible to other users. You can change your nickname at any time from your profile settings.

Technical & Diagnostic Data

We may collect limited technical information to maintain and improve the service, such as app version, device type, and operating system version. This data is not linked to your identity.

How We Use Your Data

To provide and sync your learning progress across devices
To validate subscription status and unlock premium content
To power the AI weak-point practice feature
To display leaderboard rankings
To respond to support requests
To maintain and improve app stability

We do not sell your personal data to third parties. We do not use your data for advertising purposes.

Data Storage & Security

Your data is stored securely on Supabase infrastructure. All data in transit is encrypted using HTTPS/TLS. We apply access controls to limit who can access your data within our systems.

We retain your account data as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will delete your personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.

Third-Party Services

EarCraft uses the following third-party services that may handle data on our behalf:

Apple App Store — payment processing and sign-in
Google Play — payment processing (Android)
Supabase — backend database and authentication infrastructure

Each service operates under its own privacy policy. We encourage you to review them.

Your Rights

You have the right to:

Access the personal data we hold about you
Request correction of inaccurate data
Request deletion of your account and associated data
Change your public nickname at any time

Children's Privacy

EarCraft is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, please contact us immediately at info@musiclabfun.com and we will promptly delete it.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this policy periodically. Continued use of EarCraft after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
